About Ships.AI

Safer, Smarter, Cleaner Shipping — powered by AI.

Our Mission

At Ships.AI, our mission is to transform the maritime industry with explainable intelligence that reduces risk, cuts emissions, and empowers seafarers and operators alike. We believe AI is not here to replace mariners, but to act as a co-pilot — a trusted assistant for bridge and machinery spaces that enhances safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Our Vision

We envision a future where shipping is not only compliant with IMO 2030 and EU ETS regulations but also sustainable, data-driven, and resilient. A future where shipowners, operators, and charterers have AI copilots at their side — delivering instant insights on fuel, weather, compliance, and safety. Ships.AI aims to be the SaaS platform that makes this future possible, empowering the maritime ecosystem with tools that are scalable, reliable, and easy to use.

Why Ships.AI?

Founded by a Master Mariner turned maritime tech entrepreneur, Ships.AI was born out of lived experience at sea and deep knowledge of the commercial side of shipping. After years navigating vessels worldwide and later leading sales and business development in global shipping companies, our founder realized a gap: shipping companies needed AI solutions that are practical, explainable, and built with seafarers in mind.

Ships.AI exists to bridge that gap — providing AI copilots for the industry’s most pressing challenges: emissions compliance, vessel tracking, performance optimization, and operational decision-making. Our values of freedom, persistence, and impact shape everything we build, with the long-term vision of financial independence, community-building, and a sustainable maritime future.

The Voyage Ahead

We’re just setting sail — starting with our Emissions Tracker and AIS Vessel Tracking modules. Soon, Ships.AI will expand into Fleet Performance, Weather Routing, and Smart Vessel Assistance. Our goal is clear: build a scalable SaaS company with recurring revenue, financial freedom, and impact for the maritime community.
